3D Viewer

3D Viewer opens common model formats in the browser for inspection, orbit control, lighting changes, and animation playback. It is meant for quick local review of geometry rather than full modeling or scene authoring.

Supported formats

  • GLB
  • GLTF
  • FBX
  • OBJ
  • STL

Why it is different

  • Supports multiple common interchange formats in one viewer.
  • Optimized for inspection, not for editing the geometry itself.
  • Good for quick checks of models, materials, and animation presence.

Privacy and local processing

Models are loaded and viewed locally in the browser. The page is built for local inspection rather than upload-based visualization.

FAQ

Can I rotate and inspect the model interactively?

Yes. Orbit, pan and zoom around the model. Reset view recenters it and stops auto-rotation; Clear removes it and cancels pending loading.

Does it support animated models?

Yes, where the source format includes animation data that the viewer can read.

How do I open a model with separate textures or materials?

Select the model together with its local textures, .bin buffers and OBJ .mtl files. GLB and FBX can also contain embedded textures. Missing dependencies report an error; the viewer does not fetch remote model assets.

Can I edit or export a modified model?

Use Converter to export GLB, GLTF, OBJ or STL. The viewer provides inspection and playback controls, without changing the model geometry.

Popular tasks

GLB viewer with no upload

Open GLB and GLTF models locally and inspect materials, geometry, and embedded animation.

STL viewer with no upload

Review STL geometry with orbit controls, lighting, and grid helpers directly in the browser.

OBJ viewer with no upload

Inspect OBJ models without sending project assets to a third-party visualization service.

Private 3D model viewer

Use local model loading for quick checks of GLB, GLTF, FBX, OBJ, and STL files.
