MediaSmith and PrivateTools are sibling products from the same creator. They share their editing and processing engines. MediaSmith presents those tools as a media studio; PrivateTools presents a collection of local utilities.

Files stay with you

The tools read and process selected files on your device. The browser downloads application code and any required runtimes. Some optional models download on first use. Browser storage can remember settings and source-file references; it does not replace your originals or downloaded exports.

Use the workspace that fits

These tools suit focused editing, conversion and review tasks. Codec availability and performance vary with the browser, media and device. A dedicated production application remains useful for projects that need a larger workflow.
